Through the eyes of the Wolf ________________________________ I can see the striking golden eyes staring at me We faced eachother, man to wolf My heart beats slow when we faced I could hear the breathing of the wolf The wolf was coming closer to me I dared not to move while the wolf was moving closer to me The wolf stopped and let out a short howl Then the wolf stopped, looked at me with curiousity It was like that the wolf told me, "Well, what are you waiting for?" I let out a short howl to the wolf, It was a calm sound Together we howled to the moon The howl was a peircing sound, even beautiful when it ended I looked at the eyes of the wolf The wolf stared back at me I put out my hand to the wolf, slowly moved closer to the wolf The wolf came to me, and touched my hand with its wet nose Then the wolf walked away and stopped, the wolf turned around and howled I was touched by what the wolf did, I howled back and waved to the wolf farewell Then the wolf dissapeared in the dark, snowy forest I knew someday I will see the wolf again I was glad to be seen by the eyes of the wolf | |||||||||||||||||||||||
